In the episode "False Heart," a supporting character named Mari insulted Hikari for confessing her love to Takeru before she had
the first opportunity. Mari is Takeru's cousin, though we do not know how close their family relation. Hikari is too naive and unfamilar with human emotion to comprehend Mari's anger.
The end result is a brisk slap on Hikari's face. Hikari abruptly changes views about the human race and decides to proceed with the evolution process to destroy the world as she has
always done over the course of millions of years.
This is a layout sketch. It was used as part of the CG process to model character movement or action. It is hand-drawn and in excellent condition.
